Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque MP said that the National Assembly elections will be held in December this year or January next year. In this situation, he instructed the party leaders and workers to convey the developments during the Awami League period to the people.
On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the minister said this during a virtual exchange of views with the leaders and activists of Akhaura Upazila of Brahmanbaria on Monday afternoon. At that time the president of Upazila Awami League Mohammad Ali Chowdhury, general secretary Md. Takzil Khalifa Kajal and others were present. The discussion was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium. He said that the minister will sit with the leaders and workers again on July 14.
At this time, the minister also said, ‘We are now living stably. BNP-Jamaat does not like that. They want to destabilize. If so, I will resist with the people. If he comes to power through some kind of conspiracy, there will be no more country.’
In his speech, the minister highlighted the various development activities of his constituencies Kasba and Akhaura. He has already given government jobs to 1525 people. Mentioning the CNG autorickshaw stand on one side of the Akhaura road market and the market on the other, he pointed out the problem of people’s movement and ordered to take necessary measures.
