Cumilla: An Eid reunion gathering was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami of Panchthubi Union, Ward No. 5 of Cumilla Adarsha Sadar Upazila.
The event was held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4 PM at the Chandpur Nazir Mosque Eidgah field.
The gathering was presided over by the Ameer of Panchthubi Union Jamaat, Qazi Mawlana Abdul Kader.
The chief guest at the event was the Ameer of Cumilla Metropolitan Jamaat, Qazi Deen Mohammad, while the keynote speaker was the Nayeb-e-Ameer of Cumilla Metropolitan Jamaat, Professor A.K.M. Emdadul Haque Mamun.
Special guests included Mawlana Delwar Hossain Shobuj, candidate for Vice Chairman of Adarsha Sadar Upazila; Principal Mosharraf Hossain, the popular councilor of Ward No. 6 of Cumilla City Corporation; and Nazmul Hasan Panchayet, Secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir, Cumilla Metropolitan.
Senior Assistant Secretary of Shramik Kalyan (Worker’s Welfare) Cumilla Metropolitan and journalist Touhid Hossain Sarkar also delivered remarks.
The program was conducted by Jamaat leader Md. Saifuddin. Leaders from the ward and unit levels also spoke at the event.
In their speeches, the speakers conveyed Eid greetings and said that Eid is a lesson in equality, brotherhood, and humanity. They emphasized that everyone must play a responsible role from their respective positions in building an Islamic society.
They called for unity and collective efforts to build a society based on Islamic values for the welfare of the country and the nation.
