Cash and Eid gifts were distributed among 50 underprivileged families in Khoshbas in Barura, Comilla, at the initiative of Munshi Abdur Rashid-Jamila Khatun Welfare Foundation.
On Friday afternoon, March 28, with the overall support of the organization’s president, Australian expatriate Dr. Sultana Parveen, the Eid gift distribution ceremony wa
s presided over by Golam Mostafa Ferdous, vice-president of Munshi Abdur Rashid-Jamila Khatun Welfare Foundation.
Khoshbas Union freedom fighter Commander Shamsul Haque, organization’s general secretary Gias Uddin Nipu, Khoshbas High School retired teacher Shamsul Abedin Mahtab, and Khoshbas Barta editor Md. Yunus, among others, were present as special guests.
Finally, the ceremony was declared over with prayers and supplications.
