On Thursday (December 21), the mobile court led by Executive Magistrate and Dumki Upazila Nirbahi Officer Anamika Nazrul conducted a raid and demolished Messrs. Hawladar’s brix. Even before this, the brick kiln was demolished twice in the special operation of the traveling court, but the dominant brick kiln owner was still running illegal business by reopening it. The dominant brick kiln authorities ignored the administration’s orders and instead of removing the illegal brick kilns, they were continuing their brick making and burning work with redoubled enthusiasm. In this regard, attempts were made to contact Baga UP Chairman Hasan Mahmud Howladar, the owner of the brick kiln, but his statement was not received as he did not answer the phone.
Dumki Upazila Nirbahi Officer Anamika Nazrul said, we got the letter of court order and raided the brickyard and demolished the brickyard.
