The police have arrested Md. Salauddin Ripon Sharif, a member of Patuakhali district youth party and member secretary of Dumki upazila youth party. He was arrested from the toll plaza of Patuakhali Bridge at 10 am on Tuesday (December 26). It is known that at 10.00 am on Tuesday, Jubo Dal leader Salahuddin Ripon Sharif went to attend a regular case in Patuakhali court. When he reached the toll plaza of Patuakhali bridge from Dumki’s Lebukhali, the police arrested him and took him to Patuakhali sadar police station. It is also known that there are several political cases against him.
Patuakhali Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Jasim confirmed the truth of the arrest and said that there are multiple cases against him in various police stations including Patuakhali Sadar Police Station.
