Police arrested a drug dealer with 16 kg of ganja in Bangra Bazar thana area of Muradnagar upazila of Comilla district. past On the afternoon of 13/12/2023, while conducting a special operation to recover narcotics, the police came to know on the basis of secret information during duty in Khamargram area that a man was coming towards Bangra market with a narcotics (Ganja) battery operated van from Sanchail Bazar via Hatash Bazar.

When the van signaled to stop, the van disobeyed the signal and the driver of the van tried to run away, the police arrested him and searched him and arrested a drug dealer with 16 kg of ganja. The arrested accused is Md. Sajib (21), son of deceased Jamal of Bayek village of Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria district. From the accused’s battery operated three-wheeled van, the accused opened the nut bolt of the battery storage box of his van and took out 16 (sixteen) kg of ganja from inside the box, which was wrapped in khaki colored cotape wrapped in a poly packet. 02 kg per packet yielding a total of (08×02) 16 (sixteen) kg of ganja.
In this regard, the officer in charge of Bangra Bazar police station, Md. Shafiul Alam, said that we have arrested a drug dealer with 16 kg of ganja based on secret information.
