The Double LED TV Cup Night Cricket Tournament was held by the Sahar Padua Jagrat Tarun Organization in Barura, Comilla.
On Thursday, January 16, at 8 pm, Gazi Md. Wahidul Islam, a lifetime member of the Barura Upazila Public Welfare Association and chairman of the Gazi Wahidul Islam Foundation, was present as the chief guest at the event, presided over by the organization’s founder and social worker Mohammad Monir Hossain, in Sahar Padua village of Barura Municipality.
Prominent social worker and former councilor of ward number five of the municipality, Md. Zakir Hossain, was present as the opening speaker, while prominent lawyer Advocate Kamal Hossain, former general secretary of the Barura Upazila Chhatra Kalyan Samity in Dhaka, president of the Barura Manab Sheba Social Organization, Kazi Momin Ullah Bhuiyan, junior officer of AB Bank Barura branch and former president of the Blood Loan Social Organization, journalist Md. Sharif Uddin, prominent businessman of Barura Amratoli Bazar, Syed Mizanur Rahman, prominent businessman Aman Ullah Aman, and advisor of the organization, Bijoy Sharma, were present as special guests.
The program was hosted by Anwar Hossain Sumon, president of Sahar Padua Jagrat Tarun Organization. Also present at the event were Md. Monir Hossain, owner of Ma Decorator and Lighting House, Saiful Islam, Joy Sharma, Mobarak Hossain and other members of the organization.
Team members from different areas participated in the game.
