 On the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu’s eldest son, martyr Captain Sheikh Kamal, Barura Upazila Youth Development Directorate distributed youth loan checks and saplings among the youth in Barura, Comilla. Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad ANM Mainul Islam was the chief guest in the function chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa at Barura Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday 5th August at 11 am. Under the supervision of Upazila Youth Development Officer Mohammad Rashedul Alam, Barura Upazila Assistant Commissioner Land Md. Moin Uddin, Barura Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan Sohail, Barura Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Nasrin Sultana Tanu, Barura Upazila New Agriculture Officer were present as special guests. Mohammad Zahidul Islam, Barura Upazila Project Implementation Officer Mohammad Shahin Hossain, Barura Palli Vidyut Samiti DGM Mohammad Jalal Uddin, Hero Freedom Fighter Mohammad Abdus Sattar, Hero Freedom Fighter Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Upazila Public Health Engineer Officer Noor Mohammad Shamim. Barura Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Rashedul Alam gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the program, Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Barura representative of Daily Manabzamin and Daily Titla newspaper, General Secretary of Barura Upazila Press Club, also present was former president of Barura Upazila Press Club and Barura representative of Daily Sangabad, Salil. Ranjan Biswas, Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Mohammad Iliach Miah, New Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Golam Farooq along with officials of various departments and representatives of various educational institutions and incoming students were present. At this time, the speakers discussed the working life of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the working life of his eldest son, the heroic freedom fighter martyred Captain Sheikh Kamal. On this day, checks of Tk 2 lakh 40 thousand each were distributed among 6 young men and young women and 10 saplings of various fruit trees were distributed to 10 educational institutions.
