1. Since its establishment, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been able to gain the trust of the general public by recovering militants, drugs, illegal weapons, ammunition, arresting accused in sensational murder/rape cases, extortionists, terrorists and other criminals. Since its establishment, RAB has been able to gain the trust of people from all walks of life through participation in various social and humanitarian activities and various service works in addition to suppressing crime. Under the able guidance of the Director General, RAB Forces, RAB is constantly contributing to social welfare by conducting humanitarian activities. In addition, RAB has been able to gain recognition as a symbol of public trust by standing by the public in any disaster situation in the country, including various natural disasters.
2. On behalf of the Director General of RAB Forces, RAB Forces has stood by the distressed, orphaned and underprivileged children in various areas under the jurisdiction of RAB-10 including Munshiganj. In continuation of this, today, February 20, 2025 at 12:30 PM, under the direction of the Director General of RAB Forces, RAB-10 Battalion Commander, Additional DIG Mohammad Kamruzzaman, PPM, distributed sports materials among helpless orphaned children in various areas of Munshiganj. The captain distributed sports equipment like cricket bats, volleyball, badminton bats and nets, footballs etc. among the needy and orphaned children living in the children’s village of the Social Services Department under Srinagar police station area of ​​Munshiganj district by RAB-10 and also distributed sports equipment like cricket bats, volleyball, badminton bats, badminton nets, footballs etc. to another social services children’s village in Jagrani Sangsad, Kusumpur, Sirajdikhan police station area. At this time, the captain of RAB-10 told the children that “sports are not only a test of physical ability but also develop our mental toughness, team spirit and morality. Through sports, we learn how to celebrate the joy of victory and can also learn a lot from the experience of defeat. He further said that playing sports is an important part of educational life. Sports are essential not only for staying physically healthy but also for mental development and acquiring leadership qualities.” Helpless, needy and orphaned children expressed their gratitude to RAB-10 after receiving the shopping items.
3. RAB-10 is always engaged in serving the people in the public interest and will continue such public welfare work in the future. Also present at the event were RAB-10, CPC-2, Munshiganj Acting Company Commander Senior Assistant Director Md.
