Like every year, A.B.L.A Welfare Association (UK), Moulvibazar, Bangladesh organized a lap-cover distribution and prayer mahfil at Singkapon Moonrise Kindergarten KG School on the afternoon of November 27. This was organized to mark the death anniversary of the late Abdur Rashid Babu, the father of the founder of the organization, Abdul Matin Lalon.
The event organized under the chairmanship of A.B.L.A Welfare Association (UK), Bangladesh President Tauhid Islam and moderated by organization member Abdul Mumin, was attended by Baksi Misbahur Rahman, former Organizing Secretary of Moulvibazar District BNP. Special guests included prominent playwright and social worker Khaled Chowdhury, General Secretary of Moulvibazar Online Press Club Md. Mosahid Ahmed.
Among others, those present were Md. Raju Ahmed, Imam of Char Mouza Jame Mosque, Md. Raju Ahmed, Organizing Secretary of Durniti Muktakaran Bangladesh Forum, Moulvibazar District Branch, Journalist Chinu Ranjan Das Talukder, Journalist Ripon Ahmed, Hafez Mustafizur Rahman, Md. Alamgir, Md. Jubed Chowdhury, Matiur Rahman, Hafez Muhid Mia and Md. Roni Mia, among others.
The speakers said that distributing coats and coats covers at the beginning of winter will benefit the helpless people in the right winter season. The late Abdul Rashid Babu worked for the welfare of people in the country and abroad during his lifetime. His son, prominent social worker Abdul Matin Lalon, has continued that tradition. Like every year, this year too, the distribution of coatings and covers will take place at the beginning of winter.
