Paba Upazila Samaj Kalyan Parishad of Rajshahi provided grants, one-time medical assistance to patients suffering from complex diseases, various types of micro-loans and distribution of wheel chairs among the members. Upazila Executive Officer Losmi Chakma presided over the distribution ceremony organized by Upazila Social Service Office at 10 am on Thursday (June 22) in Upazila Parishad hall. Upazila Social Service Officer Zahid Hasan Russell, Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Arzia Begum and Wazed Ali Khan, Upazila Rural Development Officer Shamsunnahar, Upazila Assistant Programmer Shahidul Islam Shahid, Upazila Accounting Officer Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Development Facilitator (UDF) Zakia Sultana were the guests. Along with upazila social service department and various departments of upazila administration and employees. On this day, upazila social welfare council distributed Tk 50,000 to 38 beneficiaries, Tk 7,50,000 for one-time medical assistance to 15 patients with complex diseases, wheelchairs to 10 disabled persons and Tk 14,74,000 loans on easy terms to 39 beneficiaries. is done
