An exchange meeting was held with journalists and religious leaders to prevent child marriage and dengue in Chapainawabganj.
Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan was the chief guest at the discussion meeting to prevent child marriage and dengue in the conference room of Chapainawabganj District Commissioner’s office on Wednesday (November 8 afternoon).
Chapainawabganj Local Government Deputy Director Debendranath Uran presided over the event. Additional Superintendent of Police Abul Kalam Shahid, who was recently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police, spoke as a special guest. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tashmina Khatun, Chapainawabganj Press Club President Shahidul Huda Alak, Imams, Qazis, Priests, Fathers and representatives of other religions spoke at the exchange meeting. General presentation was made by Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Aminul Islam, Additional District Magistrate Asif Ahmed presented the presentation. 30 senior journalists of the district were present in the exchange meeting.
The discussion meeting with journalists to prevent child marriage and dengue was organized by the district administration and in collaboration with UNICEF.
