An exchange meeting was held with stakeholders on Railway Service Commitment organized by the Office of the Chief Commercial Manager, Western Railway.
This exchange meeting was held at 10:30 am on Thursday (October 24) in the hall of Rajshahi Railway Station.
The exchange meeting was chaired by Sujit Kumar Biswas, Chief Commercial Manager, Western Railway, and Mamunul Islam, General Manager, Bangladesh Western Railway, was present as the chief guest. Bangladesh Western Railway Additional General Manager Ahmed Hossain Masum was present as a special guest.
Also present in the meeting were concerned department heads of Bangladesh Railway Western Region, DRM of Pakshi and Lalmonirhat, VCO and DTO of Pakshi and Lalmonirhat, Deputy Director, Directorate of Agricultural Marketing Rajshahi, college and university teacher representatives, coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement of Rajshahi division, Sramik Dal headquarters and opener. Branch representative, Bangladesh Railway Employees League representative, Rajshahi Raksha Sangram Parishad representative, Chamber of Commerce representative, Postal Department/Rajshahi representative, Padma, Meghna and Jamuna Oil Company representative, BCIC representative, BADC representative, Railway Catering Service representative , Lease Train Representative, Raw Bazar Association Representative, Third Gender Representative, Goods Train Representative (Guard).
In the said meeting, the representatives present presented their respective views on the overall affairs of Western Railway.
