An exchange meeting on the role of social organizations in solving various social problems of Barura Upazila was held at Shaherbanu Ideal School and College Auditorium organized by Volunteers Association of Barura (VHAB) at Barura, Comilla on Friday, August 4 at 10 am.
The program was presided over by Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, the president of BHA and the secondary officer of Sirajdikhan Upazila, and former director FBCCI, managing director of Hawkes Bay Automobiles Ltd., founder of Shaherbanu Ideal School and College Md. Abdul Haque, the general secretary of BHA was present as the main speaker. And prominent businessman Md Riazul Islam. Leaders of various social voluntary organizations of Barura Upazila including members of VHAB, teachers and students of Shaherbanu Ideal School and College, teachers of various educational institutions, politicians, journalists and dignitaries were also present in the event. In the event, the speakers of all the social organizations expressed their wish to work together to solve the problems in addition to highlighting various social problems of Barura Upazila by giving greetings. The chief negotiator Md. Abdul Haque assured the implementation of the ideas expressed by VHAB through proper planning and he agreed to work as a sponsor of VHAB. At the end of the program, the program was announced with lunch.
