A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of celebrating National Productivity Day-2023 in Rajapur, Jhalkathi, with the theme “Productivity in Building Smart Bangladesh”. The discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Monday (October 2) organized by the upazila administration. Upazila Parishad Chairman Principal Md. Moniruzzaman was the chief guest in the discussion meeting organized by the Upazila Commission. Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Farhana Yasmin presided over the meeting, among others, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Resident Medical Officer Dr. Farhan Tanveer Tanu etc. Speakers in the discussion meeting said that the main aim of celebrating the day is to increase productivity in various sectors including industry, agriculture and fisheries by creating awareness at the national level. There is no substitute for productivity growth for economic development. UDF officer Md Imran Ali was in charge of the program. Officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
