A discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony was held on Saturday, December 14 at 11 am in the conference room of the Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner to mark the celebration of Martyred Intellectuals Day 2024 organized by the Dinajpur District Administration.
The program was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam. Former Commander of the District Freedom Fighters’ Association, Moksed Ali Mongolia, delivered the welcome speech.
The discussion meeting moderated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) SM Habibul Hasan was addressed by Zonal Settlement Officer Salauddin Ahmed, Additional Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Masum, District BNP President Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, Vice President Mahbub Ahmed, Khalequzzaman Babu, Deputy Director of District Social Service Office Md. Mainul Haque, Central Working Council Member of Jamaate Islami Advocate Mahbubur Rahman Bhutto, District Jamaate Islami Secretary Muhaddis Dr. Enamul Haque, Director of Dinajpur Cultural Academy Md. Kamrul Hasan Russell, Cultural Officer of District Shilpakala Academy Minara Parveen, New Generation Student Sheikh Naba Rahman, among others.
Finally, the guests presented prizes to the winners of the art competition in various groups on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day. Bangladesh Photojournalist Association Dinajpur District Branch President Jinnat Hossain, General Secretary Md. Yusuf Ali, heads of various government departments of Dinajpur, leaders of various levels of district BNP and district Jamaat, and representatives of various educational institutions were present at the event.
