“Keeping in front of this theme that clean hands are always important in health protection, a rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of World Hand Washing Day-2024, organized by Dinajpur District Administration and Directorate of Public Health Engineering like all over the world.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Nur-e-Alam led the colorful World Handwashing Day rally from the District Commissioner’s office on Tuesday, October 15 at 10 am. Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Faisal Raihan, Dinajpur Public Health Engineering Directorate Executive Engineer A.N. Md. Naimul Ehsan and others were present. Then, on the occasion of the day, the students were shown the art of hand washing in the District Commissioner’s office premises. In the second phase, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the day in Dinajpur District Commissioner conference room.
Dinajpur District Commissioner (Acting) Sohag Chandra Saha spoke as the chief guest in the discussion meeting. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Nur-e-Alam presided. Executive Engineer of Directorate of Public Health Engineering A.N. Md. Naimul Ehsan delivered the welcome speech. Sadar Upazila Assistant Engineer of DPHE Md Manjurul Islam, Dinajpur Division Estimate Md Anisur Rahman, Consultant (PEDP-4) Reza Shah Md Udyam, I,D,E Bangladesh (OBD) KM Kamrul Hasan and other school/college teachers were present. -Students.
