A seminar on awareness of the activities of the Wage Earners Welfare Board and the Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE): Re-integration of Returning Migrants project under the initiative of the District Administration and Welfare Center Dinajpur and the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment was held in the conference room of the Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner.
The seminar was organized at the conference room of the District Administrator on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11 am and the project’s Project Director (Joint Secretary) Dr. A.T.M. Mahbub-ul-Karim spoke as the chief guest.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam presided over the event, and the representative of the District Police Superintendent, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Sifat – E-Rabban, delivered the welcome speech.
Assistant Director (Acting) of Dinajpur Welfare Center Md. Ataur Rahman delivered the welcome speech. Representatives of various departments and sectors participated in the open discussion. Heads of various government departments of Dinajpur, officials of various government and private banks, NGO representatives and officials of the concerned departments were present at the event.
At the beginning of the event, the chief guest, special guest and the president of the event were welcomed with flowers and presented with a crest of honor by the Welfare Center.
