At this time, the issues related to artificial intelligence will also be included in the law, he said.

Asif Nazrul said that initiatives have been taken to withdraw the Cyber ​​Security Act or previous cases. However, the government cannot withdraw all the cases at will. Even if someone is convicted in a false case, he has to go through a process to be released. He also commented that the country will be freed from all kinds of black laws at this time.

Incidentally, Cyber ​​Security Act 2023 was enacted by changing some sections of Digital Security Act 2018. It gives the police the power to search and arrest without a warrant. Moreover, law enforcement agencies are empowered to take steps to remove various data from digital media. In some cases the sentence is reduced. The earlier Act had 14 non-bailable sections. The new law reduces that to four. Section 57 of the earlier Act was the most ‘controversial’.
