Detention 4 while preparing robbery in Joypurhat

 District Detective Police (DB) arrested 4 active members of dacoity gang with indigenous weapons in Joypurhat. They were arrested while preparing for a robbery at the bus stand area of Kalai Upazila late on Monday night. District Intelligence Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahed Al Mamun confirmed this information on Tuesday afternoon. The arrested are Shalin (22) son of Sheikh Sadi of Baratara Paschimpara village of Kshetlal upazila, Rakib Hasan (26) son of Munchur Rahman of Baratara Madhyapara village of the same upazila, Ibrahim Hossain (28) son of Abdul Wahab of Gorna Bazar of Panchbibi upazila, Jalshuka of Jalshuka village of Dhunat upazila of Bogra. According to related sources, Nafiz Khandaker (20) is the son of Khalek Khandaker. OC Shahed Al Mamun said on the phone that they had been robbing various areas including Joypurhat for a long time. Four robbers were arrested while preparing for the robbery in the Kalai bus stand area by raiding on the basis of such secret information. Two sharp knives, iron pipe, plastic rope were seized from them.
