A protest rally program was held in Jhalkathi to protest the attack, torture and 8-point demands on Sanatan religious followers.
Sanatan religious people living in the district took part in the program organized under the banner of the Conscious Hindu Samaj on Monday afternoon. They stayed at the Fire Service More in the city from 3 pm to 5 pm to collect their demands. At this time, they chanted slogans with placards containing various demands. Traffic on important roads in the city came to a standstill during the stay.
Highlighting the 8-point demand from the assembly, the speakers said, strongly condemn and protest the attack on our Hindu community. We are citizens of this country. We will not go to another country. In independent Bangladesh there is no room for discrimination. Strict action will be taken against the attackers. We will not leave the streets until our demands are met.
