Demonstration demanding release of former minister MA Mannan in Sunamganj

The students of various institutions blocked the road and protested against the arrest of former Planning Minister and former Member of Parliament of Sunamganj-3 Constituency MA Mannan and demanded his release.

This program was celebrated under the banner of ordinary students in Shantiganj Chattar area of ​​Sunamganj-Sylhet road from 11 o’clock on Sunday (September 22).

Students of Sunamganj Textile Institute, Abdul Majeed College, Dungria High School, Gagli High School, Saptagram High School, Jayakals Ujanigaon High School, Haji Akram Ali Madrasa and Aktapara Madrasa came and took the stand demanding the release of MA Mannan. They blocked the road and protested for hours.

At this time, various liberation slogans were given including ‘Break the prison lock – Bring Mannan Bhai’, Mannan brother of development – We have not forgotten you’, ‘Honest man Mannan brother, we want his release’. His unconditional release was demanded.

Incidentally, former planning minister MA Mannan was arrested from his home on Thursday night in the case of attack on students in Sunamganj town on August 4. He was sent to the District Magistrate by the court on Friday morning.
