Tri-monthly meeting of Debhata Upazila Jubo Forum was held. The meeting was held at Parulia Sagarsaha Secondary School under the Trust Project at 10 am on Thursday (July 11) organized by the Non-Governmental Development Organization Transformation. Upazila Jubo Forum joint convener Sumaiya Parveen Rizma presided over the meeting held in the meeting room. The meeting was moderated by field officer of the project Vipul Roy and member of District Citizen Platform and religious leader Hafez A. Sattar and president of Debhata Press Club Mir Khairul Alam were present as guests. Satkhira District Coordinator Masud Rana served as assistant in the meeting. Youth members of 5 unions of the upazila were present as participants. It should be noted that the project will encourage the youth to build a tolerant and non-violent society by involving the marginalized youth in social activities in the light of the National Youth Policy 2017. This activity of Astha Project is related to Articles 5, 10, 16 and 17 of the 17 goals of the SDGs. It was informed in the meeting that regardless of party affiliation, the national youth policy will be implemented and the youth will be involved in social activities to improve their skills.
