Sheikh Muhammad Khalil Al-Qari, the imam of Al-Nabbi Taraweeh prayers in the Holy Medina Mosque, has passed away. Sheikh Muhammad Khalil Al-Qari, who was in charge of imam for Taraweeh prayers at Masjid al-Nabawi and was also the imam of Quba Mosque, will perform his funeral prayers and burial at Masjid al-Nabawi after Maghrib (Monday).
Many mourned the death of Sheikh Muhammad Khalil Al-Qari, the former Imam of Masjid Al-Nababi, across social media, asking Almighty Allah for forgiveness for him, seeking Jannah and offering condolences to his bereaved family members. It should be noted that Sheikh Muhammad Khalil Al-Qari was appointed to perform the duties of Imam of the Prophet in the mosque during the holy month of Ramadan from 1437 to 1438. However, the exact cause of his death is not known.
