Md. Masud Rana, accused in 13 cases including arms, murder and drug cases, has been arrested in a raid by Rajbari District Detective Branch (DB) police. Arrested Md. Masud Rana is the son of Azgar Ali Mandal of Dayalnagar in Sadar Upazila.
He said that on the afternoon of February 28 (Friday), a team led by DB OC Mofizul Islam conducted a raid on the house of accused Masud Rana, a resident of Dayalnagar under Rajbari Sadar Police Station, based on secret information and arrested him. Masud is the accused in the case of FIR No. 10 GR No. 10 of Rajbari Sadar Police Station under Section 19-A of The Arms Act. 1878; FIR No. 10. He was absconding earlier.
He also said that the arrested Masud is a top terrorist and has a total of 13 cases against him at Rajbari Sadar Police Station, including murder, weapons, drugs and fighting cases.
