After a century, the Comilla Deputy Commissioner Amirul Kaysar came to inspect the dilapidated cottage Comilla Theosophical Lodge on the west side of the Comilla Town Hall grounds, which is still standing on the path of tradition and glory.
On Wednesday afternoon, November 20, the inspection team included Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Pankaj Barua, Additional District Magistrate Syed Shamsul Tabriz, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Fahmida Mustafa, Adarsh ​​Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Romain Sharma, District Nezarat Deputy Collector Mehedi Hasan Khan Shaon, Assistant Commissioner Abdullah Al Noor Ashek, District Cultural Officer Syed Muhammad Ayaz Mabud, among others.
Comilla Theosophical Society Convener Principal Tapas Bakshi and Member Secretary Chandan Das presented the history, ideals, objectives and activities of the Theosophical Society to the Deputy Commissioner and requested for its reform to preserve its heritage. The Deputy Commissioner kindly agreed to the reform. Among others present at the time were Professor Rahul Taran Pintu, Ed. Shahidul Haque Swapan, Khairul Azim Shimul, Jahangir Alam Imrul, Khairul Anam Raihan, Khokon Chanda, Dr. Rezaul Karim Jamil, Delwar Majumder and Assistant Professor Masud Majumder.
