Twenty -two olive reedley species of tortoise have been released on the beach in Cox’s Bazar.
Born in the nursery operated under the joint management of Cox’s Bazar Forest Department and Nature Conservation Management (Nect), the tortoise was released on Wednesday (April 7th) in the Inani beach.

Cox’s Bazar, the longest beach in the world, comes to give a large amount of olive -colored marine tortoise eggs every year. Cox’s Bazar Forest Department and Nacam joint management collect these eggs and collect the eggs at more than 12 points from Cox’s Bazar city to Teknaf to create a safe environment for the baby.
