Convicted Fraud Offender Syed Ansar (41) Arrested by RAB-10 in Lalbagh
Today, on April 29, 2025, at approximately 7:15 PM, an operational team of RAB-10 conducted a raid in the BUET Bazar area under Lalbagh Police Station in the capital, based on secret intelligence and with the help of information technology. During the operation, the team arrested Syed Ansar Ali (41), son of Ator Ali, a resident of Bajra, Alfadanga Police Station, Faridpur District. He was convicted in CR Case No. 92/21 under Sections 406/420 at Boalmari Police Station, Faridpur District, and sentenced to one year of imprisonment along with a fine of BDT 5,000 for fraud-related offenses. Legal proceedings for handing over the arrested individual to the concerned police station are currently underway.
