“Bandhu Social Welfare Society “Building Access to Justice and Legal Support for Gender Diverse Community in Bangladesh” carries the slogan, A consultation meeting on ensuring access to justice for transgender and hijra communities at the local level has been held at Chittagong Circuit House. Dr. Md. Ilyach Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon Chittagong was present as chief guest in the meeting conducted by Md. Al-Amin, Md. Faridul Alam, Deputy Director District Social Services Office Chittagong as special guest, Robayet Ferdous, Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism presented the main article. University of Dhaka, welcome speech and statement of purpose, Umm Farhana Zarif (Kanta) vote of thanks and chaired the meeting, Falguni Hijra, Concerned Transgender Hijras and Gender Diverse People raised various questions and discussions during this time. Access to transgender and hijras Affirmation highlighted issues of education, treatment, and social inequality. President of Surya Alo Hijra organization Falguni Hijra said, Transgenders are discriminated against in the society and I am demanding to solve the discrimination in the state. Jasim Uddin Mithu and Shamima and others gave their speech while demanding equal rights in all areas including the right of transgenders to access education and medical care.
