On the first day of the great freedom month, the convening committee announced in Comilla that the animal-oriented Facebook group Cat’s Home made its debut as a social organization.
Rotarian Muhammad Saif Uddin Rani, founder of the organization Rotarian Mohammad Saif Uddin Rani attended the meeting on Friday, Vet Asif, animal lover Shihab Mahmud, Umme Asma (Umme Jessie), Lucky Akhtar (Lucky Rahman), Shayla Sheela, Tamanna Akhtar (Antara Majumder) , Farhan Taneen (Hira), Ayesha Siddika Suma and many more.
In the meeting, Rotarian Mohammad Saif Uddin Rani as convener, journalist Jahangir Alam Imrul, journalist Md Anwar Hossain, Shihab Mahmud as joint convener and Lucky Akhtar as member secretary were announced as a 15 member committee.
Other members of the committee are, Mohammad Emdadul Haque Akhand, Umme Asma (Umme JC), Javed Kaushar Rajan, Rotarian Md. Rafiqul Islam Rocky, Shaila Sheela, Jahanara Akhter Nishi, Tamanna Akhter (Antra) Majumdar, Ayesha Siddika Suma, Farhan Taneen (Hira). .
Convener of the organization, Rotarian Mohammad Saif Uddin Rani said, believing in the spirit of the liberation war, the animal-based social organization Cat’s Home will work to increase social awareness to stop the torture of helpless animals, birds and animals. This organization will also do other social work. The convening committee will draft the organization’s constitution, code of conduct, recruit new members and form a full-fledged committee within the next 2 months.
