A new committee of Comilla Media Forum established a year ago has been constituted for the next one year with the aim of promoting professional standards and maintaining cordial relations among journalists.
In order to create a continuity of change of leadership, this committee was unanimously constituted with 13 members and 4 advisors at the temporary office of the organization at Kandirpar Surabhi Mansion in Comilla city at eight o’clock on Sunday (June 30). The formed committee will serve till June 30, 2025.
The new leadership of the committee is- President M Feroze Miah (Borer Kagaz), Vice President Arifur Rahman Majumder (Bangla TV), General Secretary Mohammad Atiqur Rahman (Dainik Kalbela), Joint General Secretary Zahid Patwari (Jago News24), Organizing Secretary Zahirul Haque Babu (Dainik Us). Comilla), Finance Secretary Fazlul Haque Joy (Dainik Navchetna and Rupsi Bangla), Sports and Cultural Editor Arif Azgar (Dhaka Post), Office Editor Nekbar Hossain (Dainik Ajker Jiban).
The executive members are Sadiq Hossain Mamun (Dainik Inkilab), Kazi Enamul Haque Farooq (71 Television), Humayun Kabir Jiban (News24), Md. Abdul Aleem Khan (Dainik Rupsi Bangla) and Ahsan Habib Pakhi (Anand Television).
Advisor position is M Sadek (Prothom-alo), Mohammad Masud Majumdar (Yayyaydin), Md. Saiful Islam (Nayadigant) and Masood Rana Jewel (Prothom-alo)
Outgoing president of the organization Sadiq Hossain Mamun and outgoing general secretary Humayun Kabir Jeeban welcomed the new leadership of Comilla Media Forum with flowers.
The new committee members celebrated the birthdays of Sadiq Hossain Mamun and Masud Rana Jewel at the last stage of the committee announcement.
