All civil services of Subidpur Union Parishad of Nalchiti Upazila are closed. UP member of the council, Md. Zahidul Islam, filed a writ petition in the High Court on December 5, 2012, on December 5, 2012. In view of this, the dual bench of the Honorable Justice Fatema Najib and Honorable Justice Sikder Mahmudur Razi on Monday, January 5, suspended the responsibility of Mr. Abu Saleh IFad Ifad IFad Ifad IFad Ishtiaq.
Citizens of the Union are deprived of all types of civic services of Subidpur Union Council since the suspension. Voter list updated activities are underway across the country at the moment to work for birth registration, the victim citizens said. Moreover, all services including citizenship certificates, character certificates, trade licenses are closed.
Local resident Kamrul Islam said there was a lot of work including online copies of birth registration to update the voter list, but it was reported that all the activities of the council were closed for a few days.
Union Parishad Administrator and Upazila Arani Resources Officer Mr. Abu Shaleh Mohammad Ifad Ishtiaq said. I was conducting the activities naturally on January 5 since the suspension of the High Court on January 5, I have stopped my activities.
A member of the Ritkari UP said that it took a lot of suffering and time to get civic services through the administrator. I have been appointed panel chairman by meeting with 5 UP members to liberate the people of the union from that suffering. The decision to write to the High Court was taken by the resolution of all. Accordingly, the administrator has been suspended for 6 months if the writ has been given.
Upazila Executive Officer Nazrul Islam said that a UP member had brought himself to the panel chairman through a writ petition of the High Court for six months. So the activities of the Union Council are closed. As a result, the service recipients of the union are suffering.
