As Bandarban police indicated suspected goons are of fugitive former police chief Benazir Ahmed are behind the heinous attack. Bandarban Police has been instructed full investigation and immediate arrest of the culprits and stepped up security for the victims. The Bandarban district authorities, meanwhile, has extended all assistances for the reconstruction of the torched homes. Further assistances will follow from Ministry of CHT Affairs also.
