A unit of Galachipa Fire Service and Civil Defense rescued a child unharmed from a residential area in Ward No. 9 of Galachipa Municipal Council of Patuakhali on Thursday, October 31 at twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
It is known that when the child went inside his own room and closed the door, but could not open it again, the family’s self-screaming caused the neighbors to shout. Later, a unit of Galachipa Fire Service and Civil Defense rushed to the spot after receiving the information. Later, the experienced workers of the fire service rescued the child by cutting the outer window of the second floor of the four-storey building.
In this regard, Station Officer Kamal Hossain said, “When we got the news that a child was trapped inside, we quickly reached the spot and a rescue team rescued a child from the second floor of a building in the area adjacent to the BRAC office.
Later station officer Md Kamal Hossain Zanana said that the child was handed over to the family with the help of locals.
Talking to the rescued child’s family, it is known that the child entered the house carelessly (sitkani) or locked the gate, instead of not being able to open it, he started crying, at one point we also got disoriented, while the staff of Galachipa Fire Service came out with the help of the locals. Cut the window and rescued our child unharmed. At this time, Galachipa expressed sincere thanks to the fire service personnel.
