In the afternoon, BNP central leader Israk Hossain’s car fleet was blocked. At that time, there was a fight between the two sides, a chase and a fire on a motorcycle. Immediately Sonaimuri Police brought the situation under control. The Upazila Chhatra League held a protest rally in Sonaimuri on Friday afternoon to protest against the tearing of banners and festoons with the Prime Minister’s photo. Chhatra League leader Shyamal Uddin, Delwar Hossain Sujan and others spoke at the protest rally. On the other hand, on Friday afternoon, the Bangladesh Khilafat Youth Majlis Sonaimuri Upazila branch held a human bandh on the Sonaimuri main road to demand the selfless release of imprisoned oppressed clerics including Maulana Mamunul Haque.
