Gazipur District Commissioner Abul Fate Mohammad Safiqul Islam distributed these checks among the poor and talented students, poor and needy people under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Wahid Hossain in the Bhawal conference room of the District Commissioner’s office on Monday (November 13) organized by the Gazipur Department of Social Services.
SS Anwarul Karim, Deputy Director of Social Services Directorate of Gazipur gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
ATM Touhiduzzaman, assistant director of Gazipur Social Services Department, Taslima Khatun, probation officer, Muhammad Atiqur Rahman, journalist were present.
Deputy Director SS Anwarul Karim said that 184 poor and meritorious students, poor and needy people organized by the Department of Social Services have been distributed a total of 8 lakh rupees donation checks.
