Chapainawabganj in Parda Char 2 kg of heroin recovered was deep soil

CPSC RAB has arrested a drug dealer named Samrat Kabir (30) with 2 kg of heroin and 53 thousand taka in cash two feet deep in the remote pasture of Padma in Chapainawabganj. The accused Madhyachar is the son of Monirul Islam of Rubelpara village.
He was arrested early on Wednesday (July 3) in Madhyachar Rubelpara area of ​​Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila.
In a press release sent by RAB through social media, RAB-5 CPSC has come to know on the basis of secret information that a drug dealer is staying in Durgum Padma Char near Madhyachar Rubelpara border of Sadar Upazila with the purpose of selling illegal drugs in his homestead.  Later, RAB raided the drug dealer’s house late at night and arrested him. Later, 2 kg of heroin was recovered buried two feet deep under the pile of straw inside the residence of the accused.
RAB also said that the arrested accused drives a tractor and does agricultural work.  Behind this profession, he has been involved in drug trade for a long time.  He is a known drug dealer in the area. As his residence was in a remote Char area, he easily evaded the eyes of the law and order forces. Under the guise of driving a tractor, he was collecting illegal drugs including heroin and phensidyl from unknown places along the border and selling them to drug dealers in different parts of the country by crossing the Padma river.
RAB said that a regular case has been registered in Sadar Police Station of Chapainawabganj district regarding the arrest.
