On 26th October (Saturday) at 10-00 am Gana Odhikar Parishad Pirojpur district branch organized a discussion meeting with the cutting of cake in the presence of all the central, district and upazila leaders in the district office to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the organization.
On the said occasion, Sadar Upazila convener Md. Alamgir Shikder presided over, Engineer Nizamuddin (Member) Central Committee Gana Odhikar Parishad was present as the chief guest. Md. Nazmul Islam Sohag, president Gana Odhikar Parishad Pirojpur district was present as a special guest. Also present – Hakeem Mohammad Kamal Hossain Vice President Pirojpur District. Maulana Kalimullah Yusuf General Secretary Pirojpur District. Md. Saeed Akon member secretary Sadar Upazila, along with the leaders of various upazilas.
The program was moderated by Mustafa Kamal Apu and started with a discussion followed by Quran recitation and cake cutting.
In the speech, the speaker said that the People’s Rights Council was established with the aim of realizing the overall rights of all the people of Bangladesh.
This organization has been established since 2018 by fighting on the streets for the welfare of the country and the nation through the quota movement, by shedding blood in jail and oppression. We don’t want war, we want peace, no vandalism, arson, extortion, murder, rape, smuggling, drug dealing is the goal of our organization, the creation of Gana Odhikar Parishad is to achieve the overall rights of all classes of people.
Then the program was declared over with the closing speech of the President.
