Celebrating World Free Media Day in Patuakhali

Patuakhali- Journalists have been human chained in Patuakhali on the occasion of World Free Media Day. Acting President of the press club in front of Patuakhali Press Club on Sadar Road next to the city’s new market on Wednesday at 10 am. Former President of Patuakhali Press Club and Ittefaq District Correspondent Bir Muktijodha Nirmal Kumar Rakshit, former General Secretary and Human Land District Correspondent Jalal Ahmed, former Treasurer and Prothom Alo District Correspondent Shankar Lal Das and others spoke under the chairmanship of Sohrab Hossain and moderated by General Secretary Zakaria Hriday. At this time, the speakers strongly demanded the relevant authorities to enact modern laws and amend the Digital Security Act to stop torture of journalists.
