‘Bright Life Volunteers’, a non-political voluntary social organization consisting of graduate nurses and student nurses, has provided free healthcare to teachers and students of madrasas and schools, general students and their guardians in Rajshahi.
This service was provided in a day-long campaign at Madani Madrasa and School in Birstail area of ​​Paba upazila of the district on Wednesday (February 19). The program titled ‘Primary Health Care and Awareness Program’ provided free services to residential, non-residential and day care students of Islamia Madrasa and School. During this time, the organization also provided healthcare to teachers, teachers and guardians of the two institutions. The program was presided over by Amanullah Aman, founder president of Bright Life Volunteers. Medical services were provided by Islami Bank Medical College Hospital Rajshahi’s Medical Officer Dr. Md. Mohaiminul Haque. On this day, in addition to the doctor’s advice, free medicine was provided as per the blood group determination aand prescription.
At that time, the students of the madrasa recited the Quran and performed Islamic songs in melodious voices at the campaign site. Volunteers also participated in the music performance. A joyful atmosphere was created around the program. The organization’s founding president Amanullah Aman said that such service activities will continue in the future.
The program was attended by the hospital’s senior staff nurse Mustakim Ahmed, member Hafez Md. Salman Hossain, Junaid Ahmed, Masum Ahmed, Belal Hossain, Safizul Islam Asif, Abdul Hafiz, Motasim Billah Masum, Tanjid Hasan, Nazmul Hossain, Abu Said, Razia Sultana, Mahfuza Akhter Ria, Sakhina Khatun, Suraiya Romana and Mitanur Khatun and other members were present.
