Contract negotiations are ongoing between the club and Balotelli’s agent. Alves added, ‘Balotelli hopes to get a call-up to the Italian national team by joining the Brazilian club. He wants to return to the national team and with this hope he wants to play in Brazil.
Balotelli, 34, is keen on a new move to the Brazilian club after his contract with the Turkish club expired. In the previous season, he scored seven goals in 16 matches in the Super League.
