Mobile phone sets worth around 100 crores were stolen from two showrooms of a business called ‘Mobile Mela’ in Brahmanbaria late on Wednesday night. After receiving the information, the police visited the spot on Thursday morning. Preparations are underway to file a case in this incident.
Mobarak Hossain Jisan, the owner of the two shops a little in front of Kalibari Mor in the municipal area, said that the two shops were closed on Wednesday night like other days. He went to the store around 10:30 am on Thursday and found the shutters on, but the locks open. Later, he entered the Sarta Khol shop and found that the thieves had taken more than two hundred mobile phone sets of different brands in the shop.
He said that among the stolen mobile phones, iPhone-14 Pro Max, iPhone-13 Pro Max, iPhone-13, iPhone-12 Pro Max, iPhone-11 Pro Max, Google Pixel 7 Pro, various models of Oppo, Vivo Models, Xiaomi Different Models, One Plus Brand Different Models, Samsung, Samsung Fold-3 Model, Fold-4 Model, Flip-3 Model and Flip-4 Model. He will make a written complaint to the police station.
In this regard Brahmanbaria Sadar police station officer in charge (OC) Md. Aslam Hossain said that the police visited the spot after receiving information about the theft. An investigation into the incident has been initiated. Some information has already been collected. Legal action will be taken if complaint is received.
