Brahmanbaria in 14 journalists received gifts from Prime Minister

Fourteen journalists of Brahmanbaria have been given checks of Tk 10,000 each as a gift from the Prime Minister. These checks of the Journalist Welfare Trust were handed over to journalists through the Brahmanbaria Journalist Union on Monday afternoon.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Md. was the chief guest in the program organized in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. Shahgir Alam. President of Brahmanbaria Journalist Union Deepak Chowdhury Bappi presided over the welcome address by General Secretary Monir Hossain. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Saiful Islam was the special guest in the program moderated by the Joint General Secretary of the Union of Journalists Farhadul Islam Parvez.
At this time, the District Commissioner said. Shahgir Alam said, ‘The government is working under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the welfare of journalists. Journalist Welfare Trust has been formed for the welfare of journalists. Through that trust, the government has stood by the journalists during the Corona period. In addition, the government is standing by for the treatment of poor and sick journalists.
