The residence of Jhalmuri seller was burnt to ashes in Muslim Para area adjacent to Hawladar Market in Borhanuddin, Bhola.
On June 29 (Sunday) at 10:30 p.m., the fire took place in the houses of Khokon and Ripon in the Muslim neighborhood.  After receiving the information, two units of the local fire service brought the fire under control after about a quarter of an hour.
The owner of the house Md Khokon (43) said, I am a jhalmuri seller by profession, they both lived in this house, in the morning when his younger brother’s wife went to light the fire in the gas stove for cooking, the gas cylinder caught fire in a moment, then the fire spread around.  Later, all the belongings including money, gold ornaments in the house were burnt to ashes.
The victim Khokon and local residents complained that due to the fact that the Muslimpara road was not widened inwards, it was very late for the fire service vehicles to reach the spot and due to this, the fire caused extensive damage.
Borhanuddin Fire Service Station Officer Md. Abul Kalam told the local media that two units of the fire service rushed to the spot and tried to bring the fire under control with the help of the local residents for a quarter of an hour after receiving information about the fire.  This fire service official said that it is believed that the fire may have started from gas cylinder leakage, but the extent of the damage is not known
