The police recovered the body of a young man named Nabir Hossain (17) from Titas Bill on Saturday morning after 13 hours of his disappearance in the inn of Brahmanbaria. At 10 am, his body was recovered from the bill adjacent to Titas river in Dharanti area of the upazila. Nabir Hossain Upazila Kalikachh Union of Dharanti Village Md. Jalil is Mia’s son. According to local sources, Nabir Hossain along with his elder brother Sohail went fishing on Dharantir bill around 9 o’clock on Friday night. On the way back after catching fish, Prophet drowned in the water of the bill. When Sohail came home and informed his relatives, they informed the police and fire service. Later in the night, in the presence of the police, the family members searched the bill but did not find Nabir’s body. On Saturday morning, a diving team from Bhairab recovered Navir’s body from Dharanti’s bill around 10 am. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sarail police station. Aslam Hossain said that Nabir Hossain’s body was recovered and sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for autopsy. No complaint was filed by the family.
