Comilla Correspondent. BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu fell ill in Laksam, Comilla on his way back to Dhaka from Noakhali. He was then admitted to the CCU of a private hospital in Comilla. Comilla Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Yusuf Molla Tipu confirmed the matter after 8pm on Sunday (April 6). It is learnt that he suddenly felt physically ill when he reached Laksam on his way back to Dhaka after exchanging greetings with local leaders and activists in Noakhali on the occasion of Eid. Later, he was admitted to Moon Hospital in Comilla around 9pm. He is currently undergoing treatment in the CCU and his physical condition is said to be stable. His condition is gradually improving. Meanwhile, BNP Chairperson’s advisor Haji Aminur Rashid Yasin and Comilla Metropolitan BNP’s founding convener Shaikat Ali Bakul rushed to the hospital to check on Barkat Ullah Bulu. At that time, Comilla Metropolitan BNP leaders and activists were also present at the hospital.
