Bauphal has no program in anti-government movement in Bauphal. Bauphal BNP leadership is empty due to leadership conflict.
On 28th October last, BNP and partner parties called for a grand rally at Paltan in Dhaka. BNP could not succeed in the grand rally. The grand rally called by the BNP ended in vandalism and police killings. Due to vandalism anarchy and police killings, the government and administration took a strict stand, there were cases against the perpetrators of anarchy including police killings. Bauphal BNP leaders and workers are in trouble by creating anarchy in Paltan by joining the grand rally to overthrow the government. The video footage of anarchy has been released by their leaders and workers, trapped in their own web, the administration has taken notice. Since then Bauphal BNP went into hiding. Party leaders and workers are not coming to their areas due to arrests in anarchy and murder cases.
BNP and partner parties are calling for a strike across the country, but it has no effect on Bauphal. According to some general workers of local BNP who have spoken to the supporters, Bauphal Upazila BNP is not carrying out the strike blockade program due to the leadership conflict of the local leaders.
When talking to some local civil servants, they said, although there has been a tide of rice grains in Bauphal since the past few days due to the leadership conflict, the grain of rice is currently on the wane, and the general worker supporters have weakened.
