Blanket distribution ceremony among retired members in Dinajpur

Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam said that every member of the Bangladesh Retired Government Employees Welfare Association Dinajpur District Branch should come to the association to stay healthy and keep themselves involved in a fun and entertaining environment by playing small games. In addition, they should keep an eye on the youth in their respective areas.

So that they do not get involved in any drugs or anti-social activities. Retirees have a fundamental responsibility in changing society. Remember, retired government employees should be evaluated as senior citizens. Yesterday, Saturday, while distributing winter clothes and money received from the central office among the helpless, poor pensioners organized by the Bangladesh Retired Government Employees Welfare Association Dinajpur District Branch at the temporary office of the association in the Deputy Commissioner’s premises, he said the above words in his speech as the chief guest.

Bangladesh Retired Government Employees Welfare Association Dinajpur District Branch Chairman Professor Md Ismail Hossain presided over the welcome speech by the General Secretary of the Association, Prof. Amjad Hossain. The welcome speech was delivered by the former General Secretary of the Association, Abdul Matin. The Treasurer of the Association, Md Fasiuddin Ahmed, acted as the moderator. The Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner Md Rafiqul Islam, distributed blankets among the cold-stricken retired members along with giving 500 taka each to 80 members. The overall supervision was provided by the computer operator Md Hasnain.
