Shahnaz Parveen Photo / Patuakhali Correspondent::-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that we can stand by the people in times of disaster and poverty because there is continuous democracy in the country, people’s socio-economic development is progressing.

He said this at a rally on the ground of Government Mozahar Uddin Biswas Degree College in Patuakhali’s Kalapara on Thursday (May 30). The Prime Minister left Dhaka at 11 in the morning and arrived at the Mozahar Uddin Degree College ground at 1:15 in the afternoon.

The Prime Minister said that the Awami League government is working to change the fate of people. I thank you for voting for the boat brand and giving us the opportunity to serve you again.

He also said, today there is nothing to say. You yourselves know that we have made all your communication system, electricity system by making roads, pools, bridges. Peace has come to this coastal region because of the Awami League government. Many were in power but none made it. No one in Bangladesh will be landless in this region. I have made all the houses in the coastal area. None of the houses we provided were destroyed in the cyclone.

Earlier, after visiting some areas affected by Cyclone Rimal, the Prime Minister distributed relief to the victims. At this time, State Minister for Disaster and Relief. Mohibbur Rahman, local public representatives, Awami League leaders and related government officials were present.

Before landing at the helipad adjacent to Khepupara Government Model Secondary School in Kalapara, the Chief Minister visited the disaster-hit areas of Mathbaria and Patharghata from close to the ground.
