The organization’s top leader, Abdul Haque, confirmed that the election will be conducted as per the previously announced schedule.
At a brief press conference held on Friday afternoon in Naya Paltan, Abdul Haque stated that the Ministry of Commerce has resolved the hearings involving both parties and has withdrawn the letter that was an obstacle to the election. This withdrawal was confirmed in a letter signed by Pulak Kumar Mandal, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. The letter stated, “The letter bearing memo number 26.00.0000.157.33.041.92.815 has been withdrawn by order.”
